being on Ninjagotwt as a Llorumi enjoyer is CRAZY rn, people are literally saying they should "bring the hate back to the shippers" and I'm just sitting there like 'WTF man'(i haven't actually posted about Llorumi on there so no one knows)

Like, i get not liking the ship, ok? it's a pretty 'toxic' ship in terms of Ninjago* and that's not for everyone. it is completely fine if you don't like it. Your entitled to your own opinion.

What ISN'T fine is sending people DEATH THREATS and telling them to KTS over it, like my guy, these are LEGO'S, you are telling someone that they should kill themselves, over LEGO'S. do you not understand how fucking deranged that is. like dude what happened to just not engaging with fandom stuff you don't like, when did everyone decide they needed to bust out the torches and pitchforks.

It's not just Llorumi either, I've also seen a NOTICEABLE uptick in Lava hate, just a lot more toxic behavior in general really.

*I say 'in terms of Ninjago' because compared to some other ships i've seen (i.e Billford) that are way more widely accepted by their respective fandoms, Llorumi is actually pretty tame.

everytime i come into the secretaries office to ask him something, he instantly invites me into his office, even if it's just a quick question

apparently he talks very positively about me (i didn't even expect him to talk about me at all)

my teachers who aren't exactly keen of me started to be a lot nicer to me since their last teachers conference (or since they saw me talking to him)

"he's very keen of you anyway" (my headteacher to me)

my other teachers always seem extremely surprised when they see him and me talk (not just because he's a rather quite person, but also due to how lighthearted we talk)

he's not really the talking type of person, especially not with students, and he's extremely busy yet he takes a lot of time to talk to me

has never uttered anyone's names (classmates wise) but said mine in a way that seemed more for/to himself than me or the other people in the room

asked me for my own gmail (he could've used my school mail) to send me something; he then repeated my mail twice quietly out loud but only the part of the gmail address where it's my name

gave me documents that he didn't wanna give to any of my classmates at all (i went to his office on the day his class was cancelled and asked him if he had things that i could work on)

came up with a literal excuse as to why he wasn't giving those documents to my classmates aswell (it was obvious that his reason was just an excuse)

"explained" those documents to me even tho there was nothing to explain; especially since he knew that i'd understand them without an explanation, even if there was something that'd normally need explaining

said he'd send those documents to me, then said he'd print them out, then he decided to do both while kinda stumbling over his own words (he could've just sent them to my school email)

seems desperate when he doesn't get to see me for a few days

literally looked at my chest/checked me out and then blatantly looked back into my face as if nothing happened (my headteacher was standing right next to him while saying something, he literally only looked at me, PLUS literally checked me out???)

seems to stumble over his own words when talking to me, but doesn't during class or while talking to others

said my name thrice in a "i wanna remember it, i'm very fond of it" kinda way (i've never heard him say anyone else's name from my class)

and those are literally only the newest points, all of those points are literally only 1-2 weeks old, i have way more from before those 1-2 weeks- i could totally make a list with everything i've noticed if y'all want 🤞🤞

A Reminder of the Fact, that Billionaires are not Real

I know. I know. Most people right now expect me to do more historical write ups. But please listen to me for a moment. This is kinda important. Because with Trump trying to make himself a fucking god emperor or some shit, I need y'all to understand this one thing.

This is a reminder: Billionaires are not actually real. As in: There is not a person who has a ten-figures amount of money on their bank account or anything like that. Nobody. Not Elon Musk. Not Jeff Bezos. Not Zuckerberg. Nobody. They are valued in the billions, but they are not actually billionaires. In fact some of them might not have so much as a million on their bank account from all we know.

So, why are they billionaires?

Because they own assets. Everyone who is really, really rich does not own money, but assets. Those assets are:

Real Estate and land

Luxury vehicles, yachts, private jets etc.

Art

Investment portfolios

Shares in companies

Stuff like mines and natural ressources

Patents and Copyrights

General stuff Marx would call: "The means of production"

The "net worth" that gets thrown around is just what people estimate the stuff those people own is valued at. But again: Very for of them have more then a few million actually on their bank accounts. And this also is the reason why right now we have so many billionaires.

Because since the entire bullshit in 2008 (for those who just turned 18: The real estate bubble burst and what not - watch "The Big Short" for more context) something has been happening called "the asset inflation". Basically the worth of all those assets has shot up in price BY A LOT, which made people who had been "just" multimillionaires before into billionaires suddenly.

But what you need to understand is, that this is just... It is fictional. It is a mirage. And if we all could just agree on that, they literally would have nothing. Because you cannot eat a yacht. You cannot eat company shares. You cannot do shit with any of that. You cannot even buy something with that.

You know how billionaires buy stuff? They go to a bank and go: "Hey, look at all this shit I have. I want to buy XY, so if you give me the money to do that, I will tots pay you back. And if I don't, you tots can take some of my shit, fair?" And the bank will go: "Yeah, whatever. Here. Have 20 billion fantasy dollars."

But all of this just works, because everybody agrees that if the billionaire or the bank sold whatever assets the billionaire offers up to someone else, they would actually get the money.

I wrote about this before: This is why we cannot get away from fossil fuels. Because right now everyone who has the money to invest in energy has not actually real money, but just valued assets - and those assets are oil pumps, and coal mines, and gas plants. And if we all agreed that we no longer want oil, gas and coal, those would be worthless - and those investors would no longer have money. Because their "money" is just the worth that those mines, pumps, and plants have.

And that is also, why they are so much against the "capital gains tax". It is more than it appears to be on the surface. See, a capital gain is, when those assets you hold gain in value. Which currently happens at an alarming rate. Some of them gain literally 20 or more percent in value each year. So if you implement proper capital gains taxes, those "billionaires" would have go give some part of the theoretical monetary gain they made each year from the inflation of those assets - and obviously newly gained assets - as money to the government.

Just look at our most hated billionaire: Elon Musk. In 2023 he had a net worth of 180 billion, in 2024 he ended the year on 410 billion. That is a gain of 230 billion. Almost all of it falls under "capital gains taxes". Now, let's say we implemented a really, really soft capital gains tax of just 5%. Which is nothing in terms of tax. You and I pay more taxes on our salary. But 5% of 230 billion is 11.5 billion. And because you cannot pay taxes in assets, Elon would need 11.5 billion to actually pay his taxes. And he does not have that. Nobody does. Again, I doubt that there is really anyone who has more than a billion in liquid assets (= actual money or anything that can be used as flat payment). In fact I doubt that most billionaires have actually a billion in liquid assets. Some might have several hundred million, sure, but nothing more. Again, this is basically monopoly money.

And if they would implement a capital gains tax this entire fantasy construct would come down. Because, yeah. Nobody actually has the liquid assets to pay the taxes. And they would have to admit that.

Right now their influence is build mainly on the fact that most people do not understand how "rich people economics" work. Which is why you need to understand it.

They do not have money. They have just assets. And those only are worth billions, because people let them get away with claiming this.

You know. We can just... adjust for that.

So about the people asking me if they can be a lesbian: I'm not the gatekeeper of the lesbian label or the mspec lesbian community. I don't get to decide who's allowed and who's not. I'm an unemployed autistic 18 year old with a tumblr blog who sits on her phone all day. I don't want to be given the power to decide who can and can't be a lesbian. I do understand wanting someone to validate you and your identity - that's why I give it to people when they ask. Because that's a normal thing to want, you want someone to tell you that it's okay and makes sense if you're doubting yourself. But while I can do that for people, you are allowed to identify as a lesbian with or without my permission. You don't need anyone's permission for that matter, you only need your own. I am not a high authority on mspec lesbians just because I made a themed tumblr side blog and people found me entertaining or helpful. Anyone can do that.

I'm not mad at anyone - I hope I don't come across that way - because I do understand. But the place I'm at in my inclusionism doesn't include needing permission to identify as a lesbian, or not being allowed to identify as you wish, and it would go against my stances there to just give permission without making it clear that my permission isn't necessary. I'm flattered that you guys think of me highly enough to value my opinion, but I am still just a teen with a tumblr. I have made a joke poll about being the "ceo of bi lesbianism" but I would rather take that silly title as meaning I can give good information about the community and people in it, doing my best to represent everyone when I make arguments even when I don't experience everything the same way. I want that to mean I'm a safe place for people to go to feel validated and share struggles and connect with the community. I don't want it to mean that I check everyone at the door to make sure they're valid. What makes me so special that I get to decide? I mean I value my opinion over an exclusionist's because I have more knowledge and I'm not a reactionary but I still don't believe anyone has the right to decide who gets to be a lesbian, not even me. A core principle of being an inclusionist, is that everyone has a right to self identification, and "validity" is bullshit. Me deciding if someone can or can't be a lesbian isn't much better than an exclus deciding it, regardless of if we give different answers or not. It would still be practicing gatekeeping to get to choose.

If people in the future want to ask me for validation on their identity, consider alternate wording! You can ask "hey Lun, do you think it makes sense for me to identify as a lesbian?" You can ask "I'm considering identifying as a lesbian. [x experience here.] What do you think?" You can ask "hey red this is my experience. If you had this experience do you think you would call yourself a lesbian too?" You can ask "can you give me some validation on my identity please?" That's all fine. Those keep it to just my opinions and thoughts, but aren't permission. You can tell me you're going to identify as a lesbian because it's your favorite pride flag and I might think that's a strange reason to identify as a lesbian, and if you ask my opinion I'll probably say as such, but I'm not going to assume authority to say you CANNOT identify as a lesbian because I think the reason is weird. It's just not my place to decide. My place is just to make people feel accepted, safe, and happy, and to spread good information to people seeking it.

I do. I know some people think either he wouldn't have or he would've missed so that's why the writers had him shoot Dorian instead, but mmmmmm no, I don't personally think so. I like to think that if he had taken the shot, his shaky hands would've caused him to shoot her fatally.

Mostly because I'm already so normal about the fact that of the Ericson crew, Marlon and Louis are the only ones with a body count. Well, that we know of, but shown to us in the game, at least. Plus, we know it's Louis' first kill.

Like yeah, Clementine and AJ become part of the crew and they have bigger body counts, and if we're counting indirect kills caused by actions, then Tenn has a count... and I guess everyone has blood on their hands for blowing up the boat... but I'm talking about killed directly with a weapon like....... I lied, I'm not normal about that at all, Louis and Marlon are the ones who have killed someone in Louis' route. I'm also not normal about the fact that Louis kills Dorian and then even as he's clearly in shock, he tries to go with Clementine to get AJ, and then later on when they talk about it, he says it feels like bile but not quite and he's glad he has it in him to do it.... listen, listen, listen... I'm obsessed with that.

Anyway, so if Louis shot Minerva, I think he would've accidentally killed her and can you imagine? He's already enough of a mess after killing the woman who pinned him down and tried to cut his finger off [or succeeded] but he knew Minerva, they were friends before the twins were taken. Even Violet couldn't kill her even though that would've been the smarter thing to do, and we know thanks to meta knowledge that killing her would've saved lives, but Violet couldn't, and I don't think Louis would intentionally either.

Speaking of Violet, if Louis killed Minerva, I hate to think about what that would've done to Vi. I think she might've actually left at that point, like what was planned before it got changed to her being burned. I don't think she would've attacked Louis over it, though, like yeah she attacked Clementine in the cell but Louis? I don't know, but I don't think so just because it's Louis and he'd be a mess about it anyway.

Though if he did kill her, it would be a neat parallel to draw... y'know, because Louis forgave AJ for killing Marlon even though he was pissed and heartbroken, and Violet was annoyed with him the entire time... but could she ever forgive Louis for killing Minerva? Y'know? We already have a similar parallel with AJ shooting Tenn, but still.

If Clementine killed Minerva in that moment, though, then I could see Violet attacking her since in her eyes, Clem proved her right.

So yeah, I get why they added the Dorian kill to his route. It adds another compelling element to Louis as a character, but we also need Minerva alive for episode 4; Louis can't kill her, he can't miss, and he's not going to stay with her because we need Violet to stay on the boat and him to be on shore for all routes.
